Process

During early brainstorming, I knew I wanted a bold sans serif typeface to complement the detailed emotional photos of Dorothea Lange. Giving the type plenty of white space in each print design centered the focus and allowed Lange’s work to take precedent.

Finally, I wanted to add an accent color, and I loved the bold and bright effect of red.
